This fine-threaded cotton muslin features a soft texture with a naturally smooth feel, untouched by treatments found in certain shirting fabrics or our batiste prints. Unlike the latter, which undergo special finishing for a smoother and slightly firmer touch, this muslin's weave is more open than batiste yet denser than gauze. Despite its delicate nature, it maintains its shape well and experiences minimal shrinkage.
Primarily sheer, particularly in lighter solid shades, this fabric is ideal for layering or in applications where a hint of translucency is acceptable.
